The Friendship Trail

The Four Friends!

Buddies

This Memorial Weekend, like most, we spent at the lake. We have some fabulous neighbors up north, the Morgan's. We couldn't ask for better neighbors. They are truly like family to us. We decided to take a small section of fence down between our two cottages this weekend so that the kids could go back and forth between the cottages without going on the road. Once the fence was down, I told them that they should think of a name for the new "trail". After Mady and Hannah put their heads together, they came up with The Friendship Trail. It was so adorable, they actually made pictures and posted them on the trees between the path. These kids are going to be going back and forth on the friendship trail for years and share a friendship for a lifetime. Thank you Morgan's for being such wonderful friends and for making memories with us every weekend! We love you!

I forgot to add that Jane & I saw Wicked on Mother's Day. It lived up to everything I had expected. It was quite amazing. I can't recommend it enough. If given the opportunity, please see it. You will not be disappointed.
Such a beautiful day for riding your bike! Mady is so quick on that new scooter. She is really starting to get some coordination! We were wondering when that would happen!

Ahhhh, Baby Hayden is not such a baby anymore! Boo hoo

Mady and her best friend Aubrey at their soccer game. Two peas in a pod!

Mady is really starting to get the idea of soccer. She has really surprised us this season. She is quick and almost always makes goals! We are so proud of her. I guess those past three seasons really proved to help her grow into the sport! ha ha

Three generations of Rappley! Look at those boys. Hayden is starting to look like a mini-Matt. It's amazing to me how Hayden has the Rappley eyes! He is a little Frank, a little Hayden, but a whole lot of Rappley!

NYC Trip

Jane & I before the SNL show

Jimmy Kimmel hosted with Kelly during the second taping we attended on Monday. He is hysterical.

New York City

We were able to spend some time with Andrew in the city. Things haven't changed much, we ended up laughing the night away!
We saw Regis & Kelly on Monday. It was great and McSteamy was the guest!

Oh, how I love it there!

Jane & I in the elevator at the Mackenzie-Childs 5th Avenue Store. Such an amazing place. I could live there if I had to!!!!!

Look at this Puppy!

Okay, I think I may want a puppy. I mean, take a look at this little cutie. Our neighbors at the lake from "Detroit" (Clarkston) breed these puppies. This one is by far the cutest I have seen yet. I would love to him, but Matt thinks not! Oh well, thought I would share his adorable little mug.
