Hayden gets caught in the act.....................

This is hysterical. I had on Usher's song, Love in this club, and I walked into the kitchen and found Hayden doing this. He was embarrassed that I caught him doing it. Just take a look for yourself. Too funny.

Mady at Goal

Soccer Saturday

Is she her Mother's daughter or what? Look at that tongue! Too funny.
Paying attention at goal again. Ha ha
PaPa Frank stopped to see Mady's game. It was so great to see him and Mady was thrilled.
Mady's team. Such great girls. At 6, 7 & 8 years old, these girls already are team players. They really work together and have determination beyond their years. I am so proud of Mady and all the girls on her team. Go Falcons!

Yearbook Yourself

Okay, is this hysterical? I was looking at a blog where this girl had done this and of course I had to give it a try. You must try it. Here is Julie in 1960 and Matt in 1984. Aren't we gorgeous. Check it out at www.yearbookyourself.com And by the way, 1960 Julie might be able to double for Gov. Palin when needed.
Matt has got to grow his hair out. I mean, seriously. You know he must be sporting a pair of roller skates and a velcro wallet. Ha ha.

First Day of School.........................

Mady is officially a first grader! She was so excited to start school today. This will be the first time she has been at school for a full day. I wish it was easier for Mom! I'm going to miss our days together.
This hat was the only piece of clothing she said she wanted when we went school shopping. I had to get it for her considering how she begged! Such a character that little woman.

Hayden's first day of preschool. Another bittersweet goodbye this morning to my little man Hayden. He was so brave and just walked right into school with no fear. I have to admit, it was harder pulling out of this parking lot than I had ever figured it would be.

I love you Mady and Hayden, my little students!

Catawba Island 2008

Fishing at the docks Just his size!
We took out papa's boat for a sunset cruise on Lake Erie

The African Safari park where we fed the animals out of our car windows. Mady was a fan, but Hayden did not want his window down once.

Hence the liability disclosures when you enter the park!
The Zeebra who stole our cup of food!
Amazing. This was the best part.

This picture says it all.............................
Cedar Point is the BEST!

This was Hayden's first trip to Cedar Point. He had a blast. He loved every second of it and was sleeping on his dad's shoulders before we even made it to the car to leave.
Camp Snoopy!
Mady and Peppermint Patty! Too cute
The swings - a crowd pleaser!

Hayden being his usual self at the pool
The kids at the pool
Papa, Char and the kids swimming
Papa's Birthday Cake.
